A carved wood figure of The Bodhisattva of Mercy, Guanyin; seated on a lotus base and wearing typical loose-fitting robes whilst holding both hands expressed in mudra; 42 cm high, Qing Dynasty. Please note that there are areas of damage and deterioration to this sculpture which include: degraded and fatigued wood and pigment; extremity loss to the left hand, and the right hand entirely lost.
