A Chinese gilded wood figure of a Deity or Scholar, seated on the back of a Kylin, possibly intended to be Xuanwu; 34 cm high, Qing Dynasty. Please note that this sculpture has some areas of damage and deterioration, including: some areas of cracking, loss and degradation around the base; a lost tail on the kylin; and degraded lacquer on both rider and animal.
