A Chinese Export silver tea canister and domed cover with mythological animal finial, and loose-ring handles; decorated on the cylindrical body with narrative scenes of horsemen and warriors beside buildings and foliage; 19 cm high. Hallmarks on the base for Wang Hing & Co, Hong Kong or Canton; together with a similar bowl, about 12.5 cm diameter, also by Wang Hing & Co., with a reticulated design of bamboo. This includes: loss of detail on the cylindrical canister as a result of polishing; areas of bruising, fatigue or loss to both; and a lost base and/or liner to the reticulated bowl.
