A Jewish silver-mounted marriage jewellery casket, probably 19th century, rectangular form, serpentine front, the wooden carcass overlaid with embossed silver panels of foliate decoration, the interior with three lined compartments, the inside of the cover with a mirror, on four bracket feet, length 26cm, height 19.8cm. Provenance: Sold by the Executors of the late Pamela Spater (d.2018), Amersham, Buckinghamshire.
