Engraving from the religious aspect realized on an iconographic model of the engraver Gabriel de Saint-Aubin. Jesus is represented while, in a landscape with rocky buttresses and with the raised index finger, he speaks to his apostles and to the crowd that are kidnapped and concentrated by the words and teachings of the Master. The inking is in some places at times dark and gloomy, so that to some characters of the scene the face or some anatomical details are not visible.
