周韶华（b.1929），山东荣成人，毕业于中原大学美术系。2008年获湖北省人民政府授予“终身成就艺术家”称号。2015年获评2014年度“中华文化人物”。先后担任湖北省美术院院长、湖北省文联主席、中国国家画院院务委员等。多年致力于中国画理论与创作革新的探索与研究，是中国画气势派的开宗创派者与理论建树者。
