Set on an inset tight fruit-shaped base with curved walls ending at a rim, the cover also drum-shaped slightly domed and with inset lower rim to fit within the lower half of the box; the lower box decorated in underglaze-blue with circular pertrusions created by the surrounding underglaze-blue; the box also decorated by a blue-tinged clear glaze; rims unglazed.
