折腰碗是碗的一种样式。始见于唐代。盛行于元代中期。因腰部曲折面得名。此件藏品敞口，折腰斜腹、圈足内收。碗身胎骨精细，内外施白釉，洁白致密，均匀平滑，粉彩发色浓妍泛紫，沈厚浓郁。口沿描金，碗外壁绘人物草船，松石，远处的山峦，近出的湖水，由远及近，好一派大好河山的壮阔画面。人物绘画生动形象，有弯弓射箭，有危坐抚须，有手拿利矛的，神态各异，炯炯有神。画片极为饱满，笔触流畅细腻。
