The vase robustly potted with a globular body rising to a cylindrical neck, the body richly painted in cobalt blue with leafy sprays of ripe peaches and pomegranates, interspersed with a bouquet of lotus flowers with elegantly meandering stems and a blooming peony sprig, all below a band of ruyi-heads, the neck with a lotus scrolls issuing curling foliage, the rim with a band enclosing motifs of crashing, tumultuous waves, all against a brilliant translucent blueish glaze ground, the foot ring left unglazed and the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark of Yongzheng. Height: 56 cm, 22". Note: This lot was previously won in our April 2019 auction by non-paying bidder Wieland Goetze/Roland Freyer of Germany.
