An Edwardian sterling silver mounted tortoiseshell cup and cover, London 1904 by William Comyns
of spherical form raised on a single pedestal foot with gadrooned rim, the body mounted en cage and surmounted by a ball finial. Together with an early 20th century tortoiseshell bowl with inlaid silver decoration of scroll and butterflies, the outside with painted decoration of flowers. (2)
