A large Bohemian Historismus armorial enamelled glass beaker, late 19th century, of tapered cylindrical form, one side painted with the coat of arms of the Count of Hohenlohe, inscribed 'COM DE HO HENLOHE' in white enamel above, the reverse with a stylised spray of blue and red flowers, the rim with a gilt band, 13.5cm high, initials 'J.S.' in black script to the base. FOOTNOTES: The House of Henlohe is a German dynasty, granted the titles of Count in 1450 and later Prince.
