Ming Dynasty or later.
Comprising: a pear-shaped famille verte wall vase with a deer below a pine tree, an ovoid blue and white jar with a figurative design, a celadon-glazed archaistic vase with twin elephant handles, incised with stylised dragons and a band of stiff upright leaves, with an apocryphal Yongle mark to the base, together with a blue and white seal paste box and cover painted with a bird sitting on a branch among flowers, 23cm. Provenance: an English private collection, acquired in London in the 1980s-1990s.
