The piece is carved from a natural jade material which is of overall black tone with well-defined varying tone of white and light gray. It is finely carved with the legendary figure-Zhongkui sitting on the ground with bent knees on the black part, and a lovely monkey climbing upon a folding fan on the white part. Wt: 211g. H: 5.2cm.
