Forged steel electric light fixture by Bryan Hunt (b. 1947), having a welded base and a glass shade, executed c.1986-1987. Glass shade signed, from an edition of 38 plus 38 artist's proofs. Provenance: Gemini G.E.L., Los Angeles, CA, 1987; Collection of Nancy & Douglas Drysdale. Nancy Drysdale (1931-2003) was one of Washington DC's most admired contemporary art dealers.
