A Persian brass inlaid spouted ewer, Khorasan, c.1220, constructed of sheet metal, chased, engraved and inlaid, of characteristic from with a cylindrical, vertically ribbed body on a spreading foot, the neck decorated with two seated silvered lions, the ten facets, each decorated with alternating seated figures and a lion, with a rope decorated loop handle, 28cm high
