款识：壬申十月，震泽王己千书。||钤印：溪岸草堂、王季迁、己千翰墨 |释文：立志不随流俗转，留心学到古人难。||作者简介：王己千，又名季铨，字选青，别署王迁，江苏苏州人。早年从吴湖帆研习绘画及鉴定。1949年定居美国纽约。60年代随张大千游历欧洲各国。集鉴定、收藏、书画创作于一身。作品糅合中国传统水墨技巧和西洋艺术精华，形成精奇洒脱、开张豁达的个人风貌。为纽约大都会博物馆终生会员。
