款识：少穆林则徐。||鉴藏印：严舫审定书画真迹、番禺潘巨望琼仙馆藏 |作者简介：林则徐，字少穆，晚号退叟、七十二峰退叟，福建侯官人。二十岁中举，嘉庆十六年进士。历任编修、监察御史、江苏巡抚、湖广总督等职。工诗词、擅书法。书法初学欧阳询，旁涉柳公权、董其昌，上溯王羲之、王献之父子。楷书用笔遒劲，风格典雅，意态俊逸，风神潇洒，大字尤佳。||释文：写书竹简拈鲜碧，临帖藤笺搨硬黄。
