A 19th century French mahogany, rosewood crossbanded marquetry and gilt metal mounted petit commode,: of shaped outline inlaid with brass lines and decorated with foliate stems, the wide crossbanded top with pierced brass heart decorated gallery, containing three small drawers between canted and fluted stiles headed with pendant floral foliage on slight cabriole legs, united by a galleried undertier terminating in foliate sabots, 54.5cm (1ft 91/2in) wide.
