A Regency carved giltwood and gesso circular convex mirror,: the surmount with an eagle with outspread wings perched on a reeded platform, flanked by entwined snakes and scrolling acanthus leaves, the plate within an ebonised reeded slip and rope pattern surround with turned and foliate ornament at the quarters, having an acanthus leaf base, 115cm (3ft 9in) x 73cm (2ft 43/4in).
