19C German Cölln-Meissen oval porcelain plaque Depicting a nearly nude Venus surrounded by three winged putti and doves, one of the putti offering her a shell, as another nude pours water from an amphora, signed J Pfohl at lower edge, impressed "Colln-Meissen" and numbers 6 and 19 to reverse, within velvet mat and giltwood frame. A similar plaque, depicting the Triumph of Venus, was sold Christie's New York, 29 October 2002, lot 338. Condition: very good Dimension: H: 16 1/2, W: 13 in. (plaque)
