The octafoil shape decorated to the interior with trailing chrysanthemums, prunus and lotus flowers in red and blue over a turquoise ground, encircling a medallion containing a dog chasing brocade balls, the exterior with a band of deep aubergine waves above the foot and further trailing flowers on the handle.
