A pair of verte-Imari 'Governor Duff' platesCirca 1730
Each painted and gilt to the centre with a European couple beside their dog, beneath a paulownia tree in a fenced garden, within a border of precious objects and leaf form panels reserved with scattered flowers. 23.2cm (9.1/8in) diam.
