The snail slithering diagonally over the long folded leaf attached to a long stalk, another stalk next to the leaf terminating in a lotus bud forming the himotoshi; signed Sugiura-shi no motome ni ojite Senjian Yusui tsukuru (made to Mr Sugiura's order by Senjian Yusui) with a kao. 14.5cm (5¾in).注脚黒柿彫差し根付 蓮の葉に蝸牛 銘 「応杉浦氏需洗耳菴有水造(花押)」 19世紀
