A SMALL SILVER-GILT MOUNTED MINIATURE TRIPTYCH Russian, early 19th century Tempera on wood panels. Covered by silver-gilt oklads. The central panel showing the Smolenskaya Mother of God flanked by Sts. John the Forerunner and Sergius of Radonezh to the left and the Archangel Michael and St. Nicholas of Myra to the right. Executed in great detail. The silver parcel-gilt oklads finely chased and repoussé. Minimally restored. 5.8 x 15 cm (extended).
