Central Asia, 19th Centuryof rectangular form, the natural ground embroidered in polychrome silks with a central panel containing a repeat design of interlocked quatrefoil cartouches formed by foliate motifs filled with flowers and floral sprays, the border with an undulating vine, the interstices with flowerheads, tassel trim to each side, backed with silk ikat edging to reverse
