The metal knife rests with some old marks, abrasions and some scratches and tarnishing - in keeping with age and natural use. I cannot find the maker's marks on the pig.The box and interior of the box is in a distressed state both inside and out. The base interior where the knifes rests sit is split, the structure has broken in places and the silk covering is split. The interior silk on the inside of the cover with the maker's marks has some marks and some small tears, but is generally not too bad.
