Exhibited: The World in Blue & White, OCS Exhibition, 2003, no.140. Note: this dish is from one of the earliest armorial services made in China for European consumption. It was commissioned by Jacob Pelgrom (1655-1713), a Dutch East India Company official at Bengal from 1689 and Batavia from 1708.
