A private collection of Chinese cricket cages and related items - a near pair of unusually small late 19th century Chinese gourd cricket cages of plain moulded waisted form, the ivory covers pierced in a geometric pattern, with ivory collars & footrims, 3.05 and 3ins. (7.8and 7.6cms.) high, on fitted hardwood stands, 3.6 and 3.5ins. (9.2 and 8.9cms.) high (overall) (2).
