钤印：冠生题识：薛尘仁兄雅属 弟沈觐冕 沈觐冕 福建侯官（今福州）人。字冠生，号观心。清末名臣沈葆桢之后人。1907年毕业于京师大学堂。曾任海军总司令部秘书长、福建盐运使。工书，擅长草书，书学褚遂良，颇能神似，笔墨沉着，线条流畅；印宗西冷派赵次闲，刀法纯熟，章法精妙。间亦作画，山水饶清逸气，平生多绘扇面小品。
