Description

题识：堤 1928 （原装裱）丘堤福建省霞浦县人，年少在福州女师范读书时，已突显新女性之特点，带头剪短发，并利用暑期挨家挨户动员家庭主妇学习文化，组织补习班。1928年上海美专第二届西画系毕业，随后赴日本东京考察学习，受后期印象主义之影响。1931年为上海美专研究员，1932年参加《决澜社》，成为唯一获《决澜社》奖的画家，是中国第一代女油画家。业余爱好是建筑设计与服装设计等。
