此瓶撇口、唇边，短颈、丰肩、长胫、撇足。色彩绚丽，红艳鲜明，瓶口红釉浅淡，至肩部逐渐深红，渐变效果更显迷人红色，且具有一种强烈的玻璃光泽，釉汁厚，底部施白釉，无款。梅瓶以口小只能插梅枝而得名。因瓶体修长，宋时称为“经瓶”，作盛酒用器，造型挺秀、俏丽，明朝以后被称为梅瓶。
