Chinese Qing Dynasty Qianlong Period cooper red and white glazed dragon porcelain reward vase. The porcelain potted in a round globular body, with round shoulder gently raised the cylindrical long neck toward the straight mouth rim, raised on small flat foot base. All reserved in clean white underglaze base color which contrast against the deep brown color. The exterior adorned with snarling huge imperial five claws dragon careening through cumulus clouds above thrashing Li-Shui waves in a dark brown color dragon squama surrounded the bowl chasing flaming pearl amidst flames, among scrolling tendril, lotus flowers blooms. Repeating taotie mask and trashing wavy Lishui water, banded with double fine blue rings lines on the upper mouth rim. Dragon is the symbol of the Emperor, the Son of Heaven, eternity, Yang and Yin, male vigor and fecundity, the Li-Shui wave pattern which is known to be the abode of dragons. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned. The Under-base bears a reign mark, a six underglaze blue seal script characters reign mark, Made In The Years of Qianlong Reign Period of The Great Qing Dynasty.
