茄皮紫釉是清代新创的低温单色釉品种，拍品与故宫博物院藏清乾隆茄皮紫釉瓶相近（参见《故宫博物院藏古陶瓷资料选萃》卷二，页268，图238），器形周正，外壁施茄皮紫釉，釉面莹润光亮，色泽深沉。品相保存良好。参阅：《中国瓷器：旧金山亚洲艺术博物馆导览》，（英国）泰晤士和赫德逊出版社，1996年，页285，图568《故宫博物院藏古陶瓷资料选萃》卷二，紫禁城出版社，2005年，页268，图238
