A set of six embroidered silk panels are mounted in reticulated bamboo-style frame, depicting one hundred birds with brightly colored pheasants, other raptors and song birds organized around flowering branches of prunus, wisteria and pine, combined with bamboo and peony issuing near stylized rocks, all rendered in brilliantly hued silk floss on an ivory silk ground, and two embroidered calligraphic characters on sides. 7 x 13.5 cm
