Two agate snuff bottles19th/early 20th century
Both well-hollowed; the first finished with a flat lip, recessed foot, carved to one side with a woody bifurcated branch bearing large peony blossoms, the reverse portraying a bearded sage holding a peach seated under a pine tree; the second carved with a pair of faux lion mask-and-ring handles to the narrow sides.
1 7/8 and 2in (4.8 and 5.1cm) high (2).
