HANGING HANGER in chased and gilded bronze with Rocaille decoration, the openworked base adorned with a large polychrome porcelain group representing a Maharajah sitting on a white elephant led by a young black man and flanked by two statuettes of a child, the back consisting of a latticework decorated with painted sheet metal branches adorned with porcelain flowers and surmounted by the movement with a white enamelled dial with black Arabic numerals.
Beautiful copy of Louis XV style realized in the second half of the XIXth century by the House of SAMSON.
