Shen Quanlin, a native of Jiading in the Qing Dynasty, was named the old man of Xichi in the evening. Jiading (now belonging to Shanghai) is as famous as Jiangdu micro-engraver. In his early years, he worked for the Beijing Printing and casting Bureau, and later lived in Suzhou, where he was famous both at home and abroad for his art.
