Original edition dedicated to Cardinal Antoine Barberin, illustrated with a beautiful title-frontispiece by Le Paultre, a plate engraved by L'Alouette for The Currency Garden, and 124 beautiful emblems engraved in intaglio. Wetness, binding defects. Exemplary with the Arms of Louis XV, with the mention " Menus plessirs du Roy " (see O.H.R. pl.2495, iron n°23). It appeared in the catalogue of the Bibliothèque Héraldique de France n°34).
