NEVERS, late 18th century. Two revolutionary PLACES with contoured edges in stanniferous earthenware. Polychrome decoration of a big fire: - ASSEMBLY with a child holding a standard on which is inscribed "W (Vive) La liberté". On the reverse side handwritten inscription "Ripault". - Plate decorated with a child holding a standard sitting near a tree topped with a Phrygian cap. On the reverse side handwritten inscription "Ripault". Diam. 22.5 cm (splinters on the edge on one).
