NEVERS, late 18th century. Two revolutionary PLACES with contoured edges in stanniferous earthenware. Polychrome decoration of great fire: - ASSEMBLY, representing the meeting of the Three Orders: the sword, the crook, and the spade head up supporting the royal crown joined together by a fleur-de-lys, at the base, knotted branches, the inscriptions "support, strength, union".
