BLOIS. Ulysse BESNARD, known as ULYSSE (1826-1899). ROUND FLAT in glazed ceramic with central decoration of the monogram "R". Signed, dated November 20, 1869 and dedicated on the reverse side "to Miss Renée Ulysse her respectful and devoted servant M Fileaudeau painter ceramist at M.Ulysse" Diam. 30 cm. Rénée Besnard (1855-1945) is the daughter of Jean-Jude-Ulysse Besnard dit Ulysse (1826-1899) and Isabelle Baille (1835-1900).
