ON DAY-2: from Lot-448 through Lot-487, and continued from Lot-620 through Lot-760. LOT NOTES: Wang Shensheng 汪慎生 (1896-1972) was famous, and the word Shen Sheng was born. Manchuan Village (now Wang Mantian ) in Yi County, Anhui. He was an apprentice in Lanxi , Zhejiang, and later made a living by painting in Shanghai. He arrived in Beijing in the early 1930s and successively served as a professor at the private Jinghua Academy of Fine Arts and the Fine Arts Department of Fu Jen University. After the liberation, he served as an associate researcher at the Institute of National Fine Arts, an artist at the Beijing Academy of Painting , and a member of the Academy . Wang Shensheng is good at flowers, birds, and landscapes. He is particularly famous for flowers and birds. During the Republic of China, it was as famous as Chen Banding and Wang Xuetao. His painting methods, such as Chen Baiyang, Hua Xinluo, and Ren Bonian, are vivid and plain and subtle. The Tomato Harvest, painted by Wang's at the beginning of the liberation, showed superb realistic ability, and was considered as an example of expressing new ideas and emotions in traditional painting methods. The disciples who entered the room include Zhang Qiyi , Sun Qifeng , Cao Guojian , Pan Su, etc. who can pass on their brushwork.
