Lustrous, Chinese 17th. Qing Dynasty Period, Yongzheng lujun vase. Thick potted with bulbous body, slightly oval, numerous protruding rings banded around the belly, tapered gracefully toward straight tall neck, wide flaring upper open lip, raised on slightly short small foot base. All reserved in pale green under glazed with densely dusted dark blue and brown speckles, thinning to brown at the mouth-rim. The surface of the glaze has a fluid appearance with a splash of purplish colors melting together to create abstracted effect against a turquoise-green ground underglaze.
