Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Guangxu tea dust glazed porcelain reward vase. The porcelain potted in reward shape vase, thick, globular lower body, slight oval, tapered gracefully toward straight tall cylindrical neck, with straight opening lip, raised on a short small round foot base. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are covered overall in pale green under glazed with densely dusted , with attractive green pale toward upper rim on a green pale porcelain body with golden-yellow pickles pattern covered all the vase. The Iridescent Green pale, gilt splashes and streaks characteristic of this glaze are described as yao bian, or transmutation glaze and resulting from transmutation of colloidal copper, iron, or other metallic materials into suffusions breaking up the glaze surface. The immaculate porcelain body covered with a characteristic silky glaze, amazing crackling effect throughout the under glaze which produces fantastic a smooth textured surface. The glaze is seamless and gives off a beautiful luster, with the colors maintaining excellent vibrancy. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
