Chinese Qing Dynasty Period, Yongzheng gilt shou floral motif porcelain amphora vase. The Porcelain potted in a amphora shaped vase, large, thick and tall, globular body, slighty ovoid lower body, rounded shoulder concealing gracefully to a prominent tall cylindrical neck, molded rings banded on the neck body, two archaic horse pattern flanked from the upper open lip to shoulder, raised with splayed foot base rim and slight concave. All reserved hand painted ornamentations are rendered in green peacock under glazed base color which contrast against the gilt overglaze. Gilt as gold is a color of completeness, wealth, metal, God consciousness, richness and nobility. Combinations of gold and red are seen on special occasions and is a winning color combination. The Exterior adorned with many Shou Chinese calligraphy medallion interspersed scrolling tendril and foliage. Geometric petals on the foot base rim, each section mark off and enclosed with single thick gilt ring lines. The clay is very fine, with a brilliant glaze finish that was applied by a meticulous, the shape is uniformly proportioned.
