作者简介 皮埃尔·约瑟夫·罗西耶（Pierre Joseph Rossier，1829-1897），瑞士人，是目前已知最早在欧洲发行中国商业照片的摄影师。1858年7月他来到香港在香港和广东地区拍摄了全球第一个以“中国”为题材的商业作品。泰瑞·贝内特在《中国摄影史：1842-1860年》中，专门用一章对罗西耶在广东的摄影活动及其作品进行了介绍后，为中国找回了这位早期摄影史“遗失”的摄影家，其蛋白的立体照片也是目前摄影收藏市场出现的最早藏品之一。
