A large Caughley tea bowl circa 1785 of simple, plain form, with blue lined rim, bearing Pulver Collection label and CBE label no 662, painted S mark with serif, 5.5cm high, 9.5cm diameter; together with two further Caughley tea bowls, painted in underglaze blue with the 'Bridge and Windmill' and 'Island' patterns, painted S mark to the latter, 8cm and 8.3cm diameter (3) Provenance: Ex. Wychwood Collection. Bridge and Windmill tea bowl is ex. Bernard Watney.
