A Worcester tea bowl circa 1770 finely decorated in underglaze blue with overpainting in gilding and red in a Kempthorne-like pattern, the Japanese-style decoration with flowering prunus branches and further flowers, concentric blue double line border to the foot rim, further circle to the base, otherwise unmarked, 7.5cm diameter; together with a further Worcester tea bowl, circa 1775, decorated in polychrome enamels with floral sprays, unmarked, 7.6cm diameter (2) Provenance: Ex.
