蓝釉堆水仙花瓷器，始于元代，在通体蓝釉地色上，饰以白色花纹，蓝白相映，对比强烈。明代宣德时用宝石蓝作地，留出空白，用刻、堆、镶嵌等法饰以白色纹样，纹饰具有立体感。成化时工艺更精，在蓝地上用浓厚、带粉质的白釉堆成纹饰，富有法华器效果。此笔筒色泽温润，花式淡雅，清新脱俗，品相完好十分难得。
