A late Victorian Queen Anne style Britannia silver monteith, the half-fluted circular bowl with opposing scroll framed vacant cartouches, flanked by a pair of lion mask and loose ring handles, beneath a 'C' scroll and putto mask rim, raised on a circular pedestal foot, London 1893 by Lambert & Co, stamped 'Lambert Coventry St London' and incised '32' over '27oz 10 dwt' to base, height 15.2cm, diameter 21.5cm, with ebonized plinth and original oak carrying box, accompanied by purchase receipt from Glading & Co, Brighton, dated 28th July 1945.
